Our Story
Since our incorporation back in the early 70’s CP Arts (CPA) have strived to ensure a sustainable path in the very latest training & technical investments the ethos around this Business accruement has always been to ensure our clients are guaranteed the highest levels in quality service and cost effective, solutions for their printed Point of sale (POS)
Initially servicing a few major high street department stores...
CPA recognised at the outset the benefit of real first hand relationships with client’s honesty flexibility and trust we truly believe this is the foundation of our longevity.

Our first trading facility was trading from a humble shed we now occupy over 26,000sqft of prime space generating a 24-hour operation delivering fast paced marketing solutions to every corner of the country and Europe.

Whilst we are proud of our history our focus is very much on our future with a continued investment plan to ensure we remain at the very front of both technical and design developments with the continued aim to ensure we offer the very best service quality and value for your investment.
The first print onto material for CP Arts over 50 years ago was via screen printing a technology spawn in China during the Song Dynasty (960-1279AD) and developed into western Europe in the late 18th century whilst technology obviously advanced in the process the principle of pushing ink through a fabric remains today. The process is affective for an array of applications from outdoor use to industrial and medical applications the main benefits being the controlled build of ink deposit and the vibrancy of Colour with a light fast application of over 5years.
Digital technology within print quickly evolved and established itself as a real alternative to analogue production as early as late 90’s seeing some of the first large format digital technology in the UK with no origination required it is a cost effective method to produce multiple artworks across campaigns, the first generation digital machines were slow and producing a print at 360dpi meant originally only threatening short run 4 colour work with significant research & development by major manufacturers it quickly engulfed and replaced traditional production methods.
Today CP arts run Agfa digital lines with a print resolution of 1200DPI and a production speed of 453 S/mph we no longer see it as replacement to screen printing more a development into flexible Litho capability across all substrates quantities and environments.
